After the Samsung Note 7 incidents of dangerously exploding phones which scared away a lot of people especially those who are Samsung fans, Samsung has decided to withdraw back all their Samsung Note 7 phones from the market to ensure the safety of their customers. To make sure that all the customers of the Note 7 return their phones Samsung is releasing few updates that will terminate service on these phones. First it will terminate any charging of the Note 7 in order to avoid any further use of the phone.
On top of that they are releasing another update which will stop the service on the phone. These are simple processes that will ensure that all Note 7 phones return to Samsung and above all to ensure the safety of all of those who have purchased the phone.
Samsung is not happy with what happened but it is definitely a lesson to be learnt so that it doesn’t reoccur in the future. In order to please unsatisfied customers, Samsung is going to offer their customer the freedom to swap their phones by any other Samsung smart phone with a refund for the difference in price. Also Samsung is offering a $100 that will go towards the phone bill of certain carriers if the customers decide to stick with their Samsung as their next cell phone. These are all ways that Samsung is offering to show their sincerity to their customers, also Samsung is trying to get the market ready for the release of their new Samsung S8 smartphones to hit the markets in early 2017.
